1. What are the best feeds for cattle?

Corn, oats, and barley are the most common grains fed to cattle. Because of their high fibre content, oats are considered the “safest” grain in terms of potential digestive disturbances.

2. What is the best feed to put weight on cattle?

The best grain for lot-feeding cattle is barley, but wheat, triticale, sorghum, maize, and oats can also be used. Oats are not an ideal grain for cattle fattening on their own, but they can be combined with any of the other grains. As a roughage source, hay or silage could be used.

3. How many times do you feed per day?

Many experts believe that eating breakfast starts fat burning and that eating 5-6 small meals per day keeps your metabolism from slowing.

4. Do you use a veterinarian and nutritionist?

YES! We consult world-class veterinarians and nutritionists. We get their advice for quality checks of our products and ensure only the best reaches to you.

5. Why is cattle feed important?

Cattle feed contains protein, energy, minerals, and vitamins that animals require for growth, maintenance, and milk production. It is beneficial to feed extra cattle feed to pregnant animals for proper foetal development. It improves reproductive efficiency, milk production, and milk fat content.

6. How many types of cattle feeds are there?

Formula – It can be a combination of hay, silage, grain, supplement, mineral, salt, by-product, salt vitamin, and so on.

Silage – Corn, barley, wheat, rye, triticale, oats, and pasture grass.

Hay – It is either a grass, a legume, or a grass-legume mixture.

7. Why is nutrition important for animals?

Livestock animals, like humans, require a balanced diet that includes all of the necessary nutrients, fluids, minerals, and vitamins. Proper nutrition provides your animals with the energy they need to grow, develop, and reproduce and the immunity they need to fight infections.

8. When does the cattle feed expire?

Some products’ known shelf life is indicated on the container (e.g., canned food). There are also prepared feeds one week after the end of the experiment or eight weeks after mixing (whichever is shorter).
